Spicy Brownies

This is probably one of the easiest recipes I will post here. (It’s also kindof cheating… you’ll see why.)

As a college student, the chances of me finding time to bake brownies from scratch are pretty slim. However, lucky for me, Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge Brownie mix  is dairy free!!! (And found in so many grocery stores!)

With this being said, I wanted to make the brownies a bit more exciting. I love spicy food, so I did some research and here is my version of Mexican brownies. (BTW Oreos are also dairy free and could be added to brownies. Just a fun fact.)

INGREDIENTS:

Follow the instructions on the box –

  • Brownie mix
  • 2 eggs (I like my brownies fudgy)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

STEPS:

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl, and add in the cayenne pepper.
  3. Follow the box for cook time instructions.

That’s it! Enjoy!

P.S. If you accidentally add too much cayenne pepper people will think they are having an allergic reaction. Speaking from experience.
